Online Hifz Classes
Memorise the Quran from Home
A structured Quran memorisation programme for children and adults, with a daily sabaq, sabqi and manzil plan and a dedicated Hafiz or Hafiza tutor.
Our online Hifz classes are one to one Quran memorisation lessons with a qualified Hafiz or Hafiza. Each lesson covers new memorisation (sabaq), recent revision (sabqi) and older revision (manzil). Full time students usually complete the Quran in two to four years; part time students alongside school or work in four to six years.
Choose Your Hifz Goal
Start with a goal that fits your life. You can always move up to the next track.
Juz Amma
The last juz, ideal for children and beginners. Usually 4 to 8 months with three lessons a week.
Selected Surahs
Surah Yaseen, Al Mulk, Al Kahf, Ar Rahman and Al Waqiah. Great for adults. See how we approach Mulk, Yaseen and Ar Rahman.
Half Quran
Fifteen juz with full revision. A strong step for teenagers aiming for full Hifz.
Complete Hifz
All thirty juz with daily manzil, ending with a full recitation test and the option of Ijazah.
Sabaq, Sabqi and Manzil
Most Hifz students do not fail because they cannot memorise. They struggle because revision falls behind. That is why every lesson follows the same proven pattern:
- Sabaq: new lines or pages, recited to the tutor until they are perfect.
- Sabqi: the last five to seven days of memorisation, so new work settles.
- Manzil: older juz on a rotating cycle, so nothing is forgotten.
- Weekly test: a short check on everything memorised that week.
For tips you can use at home, read our guide on how to memorise the Quran.
A Typical Hifz Week
Example for a school age student on five lessons a week.
| Day | In class (45 to 60 min) | At home (15 to 20 min) |
|---|---|---|
| Monday to Thursday | New sabaq, sabqi check, part of manzil | Read tomorrow's sabaq 10 times, revise today's |
| Friday | Weekly test of all new work | Light revision only |
| Weekend | Optional manzil lesson | Recite manzil to a parent |

What to Look for in an Online Hifz Programme
A clear revision system
Ask how the academy balances new memorisation with revision. Without daily sabqi and manzil, students often memorise a juz only to lose it months later. Our tutors track all three every lesson.
A Hafiz or Hafiza as your tutor
Only someone who has memorised the Quran themselves understands the discipline it needs. Every Hifz tutor with us is a Hafiz or Hafiza with strong Tajweed.
Realistic targets
Be careful of promises such as "memorise the Quran in six months". Lasting Hifz is built steadily. We set weekly targets based on your age, schedule and memory, and adjust them every month.
Parent involvement for children
Children do best when a parent listens to home revision for ten minutes a day. We send parents a short note with exactly what to check.
How long does Hifz take?
| Daily new memorisation | Approximate time for the whole Quran |
|---|---|
| 1 page a day (5 days a week) | About 2.5 years |
| Half a page a day | About 4 to 5 years |
| 5 lines a day | About 6 years |
These figures assume steady attendance and do not include time for revision weeks and holidays.

Student from UKOnline Hifz Classes: FAQs
How long does it take to memorise the whole Quran online?
Most full time students take two to four years with daily lessons. Part time students who study alongside school or work usually take four to six years. Your tutor sets a realistic target after the free trial.
How many lessons a week do I need for Hifz?
For steady progress we recommend at least five lessons a week, which is why most Hifz students choose our Elite plan. Shorter goals, such as Juz Amma, work well with three lessons a week.
What are sabaq, sabqi and manzil?
Sabaq is your new lesson, sabqi is revision of the last few days, and manzil is revision of older juz. Covering all three every day is what keeps memorisation strong.
Do I need Tajweed before starting Hifz?
You should be able to read the Quran fluently. If your Tajweed needs work, we combine Hifz with Tajweed lessons so mistakes are not memorised.
Can adults do Hifz online?
Yes. Many adults memorise selected surahs or the whole Quran with us, usually with early morning or late evening lessons around work.
Can my child do Hifz alongside school?
Yes. Most of our young Huffaz study after school. A typical plan is a 45 to 60 minute lesson on weekdays plus 15 minutes of home revision.
Do you offer Ijazah after Hifz?
Yes. Students who complete Hifz with strong Tajweed can continue to our online Ijazah course.
Is there a free trial for Hifz classes?
Yes. Every new student gets a 3 day free trial, including a level check.
Can I memorise the Quran without a teacher?
You can memorise surahs on your own, but a teacher is essential to check your Tajweed and stop mistakes from being memorised. Daily recitation to a Hafiz is the traditional and most reliable method.
What happens if I forget what I memorised?
It is normal. Your tutor builds a manzil plan to bring weaker juz back, and adjusts new memorisation until revision is strong again.
