Jumma Mubarak Dua in Arabic with Urdu and English Translation
Friday is a day when duas are especially hoped to be accepted. The Prophet ﷺ said there is an hour on Friday in which no Muslim asks Allah for something good except that He gives it to him (Sahih al-Bukhari 935, Sahih Muslim 852). رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Is It Okay to Say Jumma Mubarak?
There is no authentic hadith in which the Prophet ﷺ or his Companions used the phrase “Jumu‘ah Mubarak” as a set greeting. Because of this, scholars have two views. Many scholars say it is permissible as a general good wish or dua, since it simply asks for blessing on a blessed day. Others advise not treating it as a Sunnah or a fixed weekly ritual. A balanced approach: you may say it as a sincere dua, without believing it is a required act of worship, and focus on the actions the Prophet ﷺ actually taught for Friday (below).
