Noorani Qaida page 11 covers the end of Harakat practice and the standing vowels (Khara Zabar, Khari Zer, Ulta Pesh) (Takhti 6 and 7). It is page 11 of 32 in the colour-coded Urdu edition of the Qaida, shown in high resolution so every dot and vowel sign is clear for online practice with your child.
This page contains the end of Harakat practice and the standing vowels (Khara Zabar, Khari Zer, Ulta Pesh). Takhti 6 is the first real reading practice. Letters with Harakat and Tanween are joined into short words, so the student starts reading whole words smoothly instead of single sounds. Takhti 7 teaches the standing vowels: the standing Fatha (Khara Zabar), standing Kasra (Khari Zer) and inverted Damma (Ulta Pesh). Each one lengthens the vowel to two counts, the same length as a letter of Madd.
